Where Are You Summer? Where Can I Find You?

Hey, Hi, Hello! Just a little update of what has been going on. I just finished the first session of summer classes and it feels great. I now have to worry about the second session.  I'm on a small, three day break from my classes right now and I'm just catching up on some things. It seems like the more I do school work, the more I get lazy. Or it's just that I'm working too hard that I want to be lazy. Either way, I just want a nice break. The reason why I'm taking two summer sessions is so I would have a nice summer vacation next year. My plan is to get everything out of the way so that I can finish all of my schooling on time. Anyway, with school in the way of me actually doing nothing, I try my best to make some free time for myself. So, I set up schedules to submit things before the due date and make sure that I am free on the weekends. Everyone knows that a Thursday is a "college Friday," and that's what I try to keep in mind when I do my school work. I try to keep my Fridays free so that I can enjoy relaxing and doing what I want, so that summer will feel like summer. I also try to keep my Wednesday schedule to a minimum amount of work, because Wednesdays are the days where I spend the whole day with my mom and I won't have time to do a lot of work. I'm just counting down the days until I'm free from these summer classes, which will be the last week of July. It seems long, but it actually goes by fast. Making a schedule definitely helps lower stress levels and increase happiness.

Aside from summer classes, let me tell you about the non-school related things that I've done. I did the usual: hang out with my cousins and friends, grab a bit to eat, go shopping, and catch up on shows through Netflix. I've just planned out everything for the next few weeks and I hope it goes s'well and that I don't breakdown.

Days Away.

Hey there, the semester is almost over and I am closer to being a little less stressed. It's been a while since I last post something, so here I am. I'd like to start off by saying that this semester went by very fast and I'm glad that it did. It brings me closer to my future and career path. The only thing that I need to do to get through the remaining days is thinking positive and working hard. I get a few days off after exams, but then I have summer courses to take. The thing that's good about these summer courses is that I don't have to be physically in class for them. That's right, I'm taking online classes. I've heard mixed things about online classes, but I rather have time for other activites in the summer, especially in the summer. My plan is to finish as much as I can, in terms of courses, so that I can relax and be a regular young adult. Lazy and enjoying life. Just kidding. I would still need things to keep me occupied. But getting to relax is probably the best thing ever. I mean, I do relax from time to time, but I would like a longer time frame for that. As cliché as this sounds, hard work pays off and I believe that. Patience is the key to all of this, and I admit that I'm not the most patient person, but I have to let that sink in. I like to let things happen on its own. I know that certain thing happen by force, but I don't want to mess with the ways of life. Wow. This post is getting technical with beliefs. Anyway, I'm just days away from having a life outside of being a full time student and I'm counting down.

September is Bittersweet.

Hey there! It has been a while since... I've been starting my blog posts with that a lot lately. I have an excuse for that! I've been either busy or I haven't been doing anything exciting. I mean, I can post about my thoughts, but everything has been very personal lately and I just don't want to post those thoughts because they are personal and I don't feel comfortable sharing them on the internet. Anyway, moving on... It is September and there will always be mixed feelings about the month of September. Almost everyone goes back to school and summer vacation is over. It's still summer, but it no longer feels like summer. I know, it sounds bad. The perks about September? Well, it would have to be the autumn weather coming our way. I do get tired of the heat and I am looking forward to cooler weather. Now I'm bringing back the topic of school... today was my first day back in college, or according to other countries, university. It wasn't so bad, but I am already stressing out with the information that my professors provided about the courses. Plus, I was stressing out about textbooks and required reading materials. I had to order them quick and had to pay a little extra to get them delivered fast. I usually order them a few weeks before classes begin, but I kept making the mistake of ordering books that were never used throughout the semester last school year. I just wanted to be make sure that I actually needed those books. I got to see my friends, which was nice, but my mind is still on vacation. Also, today's weather was not helping me get past that mindset. Hopefully by next week, it'll get better and I will be back on track with things. September is the month to say farewell and hello.

Last night was probably one of the best events that I've ever been to. As you can guess from the title of this post, there was too much awesomeness going on. I got to see two of my top favorite bands, Paramore and Fall Out Boy, live and it was an incredible experience. It was Monumentour. Waking up at 9 am to buy tickets for this concert was totally worth it. I got pretty good seats and I was screaming at the top of my lungs. New Politics opened the show for them and they were awesome live as well. I'm not much of a huge fan of them like my cousins, Jane and Henry, but I do like their music. During the concert, I got to see Kathryn Davis, Jeremy Davis's (the bassist of Paramore) wife, and baby Bliss, Jeremy's daughter, because they passed by my row. I can tell you that baby Bliss is as cute as she is in those Instagram photos. I was shocked when I saw them. I kind of fangirled for a bit. Anyway, when the show ended, my cousins and I had to wait for our ride and we found our way to the back and we found a group of girls lined up to meet... NEW POLITICS. Well, 2 out of 3 of them. I had the opportunity to meet them and I got pictures with them. Yeah, Monumentour was amazing.

My Girly Side.

It was a 6 year old's birthday and I've decided to pick out this outfit. My cropped top t-shirt is from Keds. My skirt is from Garage. And my sandals is from Off Broadway Shoes. Along with this outfit, I did a milkmaid/halo (which ever you prefer to call it) braid with a fishtail braid instead of a regular braid.

Tie Dye Things.

Remember when I made my own graphic and tie dye t-shirt? Oh yeah, it was the post before this one. Well, when I was in the process of tie dying, I've decided to record it. So, I hope you enjoy!

I'm Free!

After months of complaints and exhaustion, I am finally free from school! That's right, the spring semester is now over and it is summer vacation for me. Let me tell you that I am so happy. I've been waiting for this since the semester began. Haha. That sounds bad, but I was just so over worked and so tired from school. I guess it's part of the college experience, but hey, I am glad that it is over... for now. I am just excited for this summer. It may beat summer of 2009, which in my opinion was one of the best summers that I have ever had. This summer, I actually have a lot of exciting plans and things happening. This is going to be awesome. But first, I am probably going to spend a week relaxing before the fun begins. Hope summer 2014 will be a good one!
